And then Jack turned 5. Five is a big one. School age. K.I.D. age. And even worse than him going and turning five.....he chose to celebrate it at the dreaded Chuckie Cheese! Hahahaha!
Will and Charlotte were NOT sure about that giant mouse!
This contraption is the real reason Jack chose to celebrate here. He had seen it on a commercial. If it's your birthday you get to go inside of this and they turn it on. It's a ticket booth. Tickets fly all around you and you get to grab as many as you can in the allotted time. What the commercial didn't say was how much extra it costs! It got nixed and while he was disappointed, he moved right on and had a great time.
Boy this picture gave me serious flash backs!!! Remember this? Gracious how time does fly :(
Air hockey is the best. Especially when you actually score on Suzannah! ;)
My precious boy,
You are getting so big! And staying so sweet. Your tender heart brings me much joy. You are such a nature lover and are always outside. It is so incredible to witness the way God made boys instinctively little protectors. You take such good care of us when daddy is at work! Something that is so special about you is your sensitive conscience. You guard your heart and want to do what is right. If you do fall into temptation, you will immediately come confess. I can always count on you to tell the truth and it is a character trait that I prize in you! You are going to be a fine young man and I am honored to be your mommy. Continue to guard your heart and seek truth. Look to the Father and learn to listen. You will be a great leader some day and will give all the glory to God. I am so proud of you.
All my love,
