Our little Suz is a huge Nascar fan! Crazy huh? She saw this car (I believe it was Dale Earnhardt's) and got so excited!
Her favorite racer is Jeff Gordon. She can tell you his number and what place he has come in the past several races. It really cracks me up. What can I say....the girl likes speed!
Sweet baby Jack was a serious crab all day! He hadn't gotten very good rest the night b/f and oooo-weeee was he somethin' else. I was very glad for him to get his nap! ;) Funny thing is, I thought he would really get a kick out of all the planes, but the loud noises scared him?! Silly kid. He warmed up to them after a while though.
Molly Beth had a good time. She's just so happy-go-lucky. As long as she has a dress (or skirt) on and can dance around and feel beautiful she's good to go!
This is the AWAC. It's a radar plane that monitors the surrounding air space and ground below. It's really neat. There was a long line to go inside.
It started raining again. Aaaahhh, making memories!
The rain stopped. And we continued to wait...
This is your captain speaking....
No Jack!!! Don't touch the red button!!!!!!!
Suz giving a helicopter a test run.
Trying on the gear. It was really heavy.
It was a fun time. I didn't get any pictures of the actual air show, but it was very impressive...and very nerve racking....and loud too. But still very neat. It was such an overcast day that we felt good the whole time. However, it cleared up and started getting hot. I couldn't hang. So we left b/f the Blue Angels. Maybe next year. :) Speaking of next year, if you didn't make it this year you really should go. It's free, educational and the kids will love it! :)
