Wordless Wednesday: A View of Homeschooling

* I have so many friends and family that are unfamiliar w/ homeschooling and their thoughts and feelings about it range from, "Whatever works for you" to "get my great-grandchildren in public school!!!" ;) So, I thought I'd give everyone out there a little glimpse into our homeschooling life every Wednesday for awhile. It encompasses so much more than just sitting around and doing math, reading, science, history and geography! I absolutely love it and pray that the Lord leads us to do it for a very long time!

Alrighty, these were taken last month on a day that Suzannah asked if we could do school in our jammies! :)

(Jack was up early so he was already dressed)

Abs is doing the same thing in math! She has such a hard time grasping money concepts. She knows how many of each equal a $1 but cannot tell me what a dime is. Silly girl! But we are going to keep working! If your girls are flying through their work, move on to the next year. That is the joy of homeschooling. And one of the reasons we homeschool. They work at their own pace and can move ahead if needed.

Have a fun day! We will miss you at dance. We are going to Shreveport to eat Ralph & Kakoo's FREE!!!
