MENU PLAN MONDAY
breakfast-oatmeal and fruit
lunch-Peanut butter and honey sandwiches, cheese crackers and applesauce
dinner-Roast, salad, bread and butter (life happened and my menu plans got a little off)
breakfast-scrambled egg sandwiches, grapes and smoothies
dinner-stir fry (w/ left over roast) over brown rice
breakfast-yogurt and granola
lunch-homemade pizza pockets and salad
dinner-red beans and rice and corn bread
breakfast-yummy fruit-n- yogurt and toast
lunch-turkey and cheese sandwiches, grapes and cheese crackers
breakfast-cinnamon rolls (a special treat!!!)
lunch-potato soup and cheddar garlic biscuits
dinner-Garlic chicken pizza (another recipe that got bumped)
breakfast-blueberry pancakes and bacon
lunch-soup of some sort (my mother in law is coming and bringing some things to share!!!! this is one of them :)
dinner-BBQ sandwiches, cole slaw and baked beans (she is also bringing the BBQ!)
dinner-baked potatoes w/ tomatoes, steamed broccoli, Ranch and cheese YUM!
-2 c. plain yogurt (i always buy the plain and sweeten it my self. that way you stay away from the fructose corn syrup and other bad stuff)
-1-2 Tbs. maple syrup
-1/4 tsp vanilla
-1/2 c. fresh or frozen strawberries
-1/2 c. fresh or frozen blueberries
Mix yogurt w/ syrup and vanilla.
Layer fruit and yogurt for a pretty, healthy and yummy breakfast!! :)
k, these biscuits could seriously rival the one's you get at Red Lobsters. these are a perfect accompaniment to potato soup!!!! you've got to try them!
-2 c. Bisquick
-2/3 c. milk
-1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
-2 Tbs. butter, melted
-1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1. Heat oven to 450.
2. Stir baking mix, milk and cheese until soft dough forms. Drop by 9 spoonfuls (i always make mine bigger) onto ungreased cookie sheet.
3. Bake 8-10 minutes or till golden brown. Stir together butter and garlic powder; brush over warm biscuits.
