More Missionary Friends

Our friends, the Holton's, came to Longview for a visit several weeks ago. They are the team mates of Rusty and Ann. Kyle is the Missionary in Residence at Harding this year so they are state side till the spring!!! This is great for us b/c it means that we will get to visit w/ them several times b/f they head back to MZ!! :)

They were just in for the weekend, but we made the most of it. The last time we were together Molly Beth was a new born and they only had one kid! It was so great to get to know their kiddos! That was the thing I was most looking forward to. Asher is their oldest (Suzannah's age) and is very smart. He spent most of his time building w/ our Legos and blocks, running around w/ Suz outside and driving the John Deer. I loved talking to him about Africa! That is obviously the perfect place for a little boy to grow up (according to him)! Eli is their middle child (Molly Beth's age). He is a HOOT! As soon as they walked in the door he headed to the toy box in search of all our toy trucks!!! And he found them! He is so expressive and hilarous! I wanted to keep him!! Eden is their baby girl. Ging wanted a little girl so badly and the Lord finally blessed her w/ one. And boy is she cute... and fat!!! ;) She is beautiful and so content. She is super smiley and super sweet!!! I love them all! :)

We had a nice/short visit and look forward to seeing them next month for a camp out! :)

If you are interested in learning more about what they are doing in Mozambique, go to their or their team mate's blog. It's a beautiful work. Being Jesus to the Yao people by loving them and helping meet their needs in the most simple yet profound ways!!!

*Thanks to Maggie for the great picture!!! :)

I will definitely check out their blog! Is that your wall in the background of the pic. Lloyd and I have been talking about doing a collage of our crosses on one of our walls. I love yours!
